  • A limited number of wheelchairs are available free of charge.
  • Golf buggies are available for hire at an additional cost.

“Fantastic day out for our family of a variety of ages, 4 months, 4, 7 & 11 years old. We found it to be easily accessible with a pushchair with plenty do do and see for the older children. The sculptures were amazing with us all agreeing the gorilla was our favourite! We had lunch in the Cafe which was lovely, the cakes especially were enjoyed by all of us! Would definitely recommend a visit if you haven’t already.

Amy P,

“Great place to go for a family trip. My daughter loves looking around all the sculptures and a lovely coffee shop too. The shop is filled with unusual bits and well worth the visit”

Sarah B ,

“My children and I have been to the British Ironworks on numerous occasions throughout the years. They never get bored of looking at sculptures and running around in the safety of the grounds. The sculptures always amazes them. They have enjoyed several of the additional activities that has been put on by British ironworks such as photography, santa experience, and falcon/bird flight show. Something for everyone with addition of delicious cakes.”
