Kid's club is for members only. Founded by the British Ironwork centre the activity-based event hopes to encourage children to access and enjoy all the centre's grounds and facilities has to offer.

We believe that strong community engagement has a positive part to play in both developing the centre and in creating a wonderful healthy following in the community.

Starting in 2018, Kid's club will be running a calendar of activities and aims to involve children of all genders, abilities, nationalities and ages.

Members will get first awareness of children's events and activities, with an email notification to an email address provided by a parent or guardian. Events and activities will always involve parents or guardians being invited too.

Tug of War

On the 30th September, we will see the return of the iconic Clash of the Titans Tug of War event, hosted by the British Ironwork Centre. A gruelling trial of strength and endurance, our annual Tug of War brings together teams from across the county to compete for eternal glory. The event this year will see more teams than ever before with the first pull taking place at 12 pm.

As each year passed and a new winner was celebrated, the competition became fiercer and the banter even more brutal! Last year for the first time since its inception, this battle of brawn saw the induction of three incredible ladies teams. The Rea Valley Farmers emerged victorious after a final showdown with the rope traditionally set alight. The question now is what will September bring? Could you be the next triumphant titan?
