Working with a social conscience for our community and nation

Whats On

Here at the British Ironworks Centre, we don't believe in "sitting on your laurels", life is for living and enjoying and we certainly do a lot of that here. We would like to share our philosophy with you, our customers, by inviting you along for a visit to see a little bit of what we get up to on a daily basis.

We also pride ourselves on our events programme, hosting numerous family fun days, business mornings, displays and charity occasions to be enjoyed by all. With so much going on you can be sure friends and family of all ages will be well entertained.

Live Music Every Weekend From 11:30am To 15:00pm

Live MusicThis year we are planning to play host to some of the best local singers and performers by holding FREE live music events every weekend!

If you are an aspiring artist and would like to perform here, please send an email telling us a little bit about yourself and a link to your website to info@britishironworkcentre.co.uk.

Eco Safari

For a fun day out, come and ride the eco safari!

Cross the threshold into the territory of some of the most fearsome animals on the planet, from the moment you enter the Centre you will take a winding route discovering pastures of deer, fighting bulls, grazing horses and colourful gorillas. Be sure to have your camera at the ready to catch a glimpse of the giant tarantula.

Our animals love being photographed and are the best behaved, with no risk of losing your window wipers! They are a vain bunch who love to pose for the family photo album and, if that wasn’t enough, they love children visiting them!

Amazingly, the Centre is: Free Entry – Free Parking – Free Ice Cream for Kids!

Blue Badge Bonanza

In Collaboration with Oswestry School and Oswestry Access Group, the Ironworks are running a new pop-up community initiative aimed at assisting disabled drivers.

Josephine Marsh, founder and member of the Ironworks team, has joined forces with the community action group from Oswestry School to introduce new summer community initiatives. This initiative is in response to members of the disabled community expressing difficulty arranging car washing facilities.

We will host ‘Blue Badge Bonanza’ days on the following dates
between 2.30pm and 4.15pm where any member of the disabled community can visit the Ironworks and have this energetic group give their cars a clean!
