Here at the British Ironworks Centre, we don't believe in "resting on your laurels", life is for the living and we certainly do a lot of that here!
We would like to share our philosophy with you, our wonderful customers, and invite you to join in on the fun by visiting us to see what we get up to. We pride ourselves on our events programme, hosting numerous action-packed, family fun days, business mornings, entertainment and fabulous charity occasions to be enjoyed by all.
Live Music Every Weekend From 11:00 am To 15:00 pm
This year we will be hosting some of Shropshire's finest talent, with local musicians debuting here at the Centre. Come and enjoy FREE live music every weekend.

Kid's club is for members only. Founded by the British Ironwork centre the activity-based event hopes to encourage children to access and enjoy all the centre's grounds and facilities has to offer.
We believe that strong community engagement has a positive part to play in both developing the centre and in creating a wonderful healthy following in the community.
Starting in 2018, Kid's club will be running a calendar of activities and aims to involve children of all genders, abilities, nationalities and ages.
Members will get first awareness of children's events and activities, with an email notification to an email address provided by a parent or guardian. Events and activities will always involve parents or guardians being invited too.
For a fun day out, come and ride the eco safari! Catch a ride in the Centres Safari buggy.
Upon entering the Centre grounds, you will be crossing the threshold into the territory of some of the most fearsome animals on the planet, from the moment you enter you will take a winding route discovering pastures of deer, fighting bulls, grazing horses and colourful gorillas. Be sure to have your camera at the ready to catch a glimpse of the giant tarantula. We also have a fabulous new addition! Bumble Bee the Transformer!
Our animals love being photographed and are the best behaved, with no risk of losing your window wipers! They are a vain bunch who love to pose for the family photo album and if that wasn’t enough, they love children visiting them!

Wigglers Children's Activities
Wigglers offer children's craft activities and workshops.
Their activities allow children to enjoy making something as an individual or in a group, you can watch your child get creative, learn something new, and most importantly have a treasured memory to take away with them. Crafts activities are suitable for all ages and all budgets.

Wigglers Smelly Slime Workshop
Artisan workshop ‘Wigglers’ have a very special workshop planned to keep little fingers entertained through the half term! Places are limited, so please book your tickets!
Smelly Slime making workshop, join us for a workshop, designing and creating your very own slime. Using different concoctions, materials and Wigglers very special method, you can craft your unique DIY slime!
Suitable for children over the age of 3 years. Children should be accompanied by an adult.
Please note: your confirmation email will act as your ticket for this event. Workshops will last for approximately 60 minutes.
Midland's Breakfast Club 2019
The Midland's breakfast club is a wonderful event starting at 9:00 am, drivers from all over the Midlands will arrive in dramatic style at the British Ironwork centre. This is a free entry event and everyone is welcome to join, but don’t forget your camera!

Plant Hunter's Fair 2019
We are very pleased to be hosting the fabulous Plant Hunters Fair for the 3rd year running. Highly acclaimed, specialist nurseries with thousands of unique plants and flowers, will be joining us to showcase the fruits of their labor. Entry is £1.00 per person, in aid of the Plant Hunters selected charity.

Puppet & Magic Show
Treasure Trove Puppet Company is a pop up theatre, providing a fabulous array of interactive shows set in wonderful scenery, using traditional hand-carved rod and glove puppets.
The very talented puppeteers will be here at the Centre performing the ‘puppet Parade’- an exciting and colourful show to ignite the imagination of both children and adults alike.
Each show has a running time of 30 minutes, and each child receives a beautiful soft hand puppet to use to join in on the show! Tickets are required for both adults and children. Recommended for 2 years and upwards.

Easter Bunny Grotto
Who’s ready to experience the glorious magic of the Easter, with a visit to the Easter Bunny!
Walk through the enchanted wood, hunting for golden eggs to exchange for chocolatey treats in the Easter bunnies burrow. Not only that, but the Easter bunny will have a special golden ticket for you to claim a fabulous stack of Easter pancakes to enjoy in the Café.
£6.50 per child.

Picnic Proms 2019
A Spectacular evening of music and fireworks to launch the 50th anniversary concert season of the Wrexham Symphony Orchestra.
The concert, hosted here at the Centre, is set in over 100 acres of parkland, the most fabulous music event in the Borderlands. A whole family evening of top-class music from the worlds of Opera, Stage and Screen and popular Classics. Completing the night with a grand finale of the traditional flag-waving Proms music and a dazzling firework display.
We welcome you to bring a delicious picnic, cozy blankets, and comfy seating and as part of the evening, delicious treats will be served to you including a very British strawberries and cream sundae. The Café will also be open all evening for those that fancy hot drinks or something sweet.
Proceeds collected on the night are in aid of the selected charity, underpinning the Ironworks Charitable support.

Will you be taking part in the famous 3K colour run around the Centre – it will be like nothing you have ever experienced before, firstly, get the energy high and the blood pumping with a group warm up, lead by the colour run team. You can then run, walk or skip past a menagerie of colorful, metal safari sculptures in all shapes and sizes whilst you make your way through the course, encountering numerous multicolored paint stations, buzzing with paint throwers, ready to illuminate the sky and cover you in a fabulous rainbow of shades.

With last year’s transport rally being a roaring success, we are excited to host the event again for 2019. We had over 500 vehicles in attendance last year, and a huge crowd of enthralled spectators, all of whom made it a fantastic day..
So this year, we are putting the pedal to the metal, and are busy organising lots of exciting things, including live music, the famous midday cavalcade, and exciting activities for the children!

Halloween Children's Spooktacular
Bring your little monsters along to experience our Halloween Spooktacular event! With the full moon, only enter if you dare, as you will encounter various Scary Beings located throughout the park.
Fancy dress is encouraged for the kids and adults, we want to see your best fancy dress costume. There are also some special prizes to be won!
We also have plenty of spooky activities for all the family, including

Christmas Launch - Members Only Evening
It’s Christmas time, and we are feeling festive and merry! Plus, it’s the eve of Black Friday, so this is going to be an event like no other!
For our annual Christmas launch, we will be hosting a very special evening for our members, to include carols, extraordinary discounts and offers, tasters and freebies, and exclusive access to our Christmas range! There will also be a variety of wonderful local businesses here to show you their fabulous ranges and offers.
We do always have such a wonderful response to this evening, so it is exclusive to members, and tickets only – limited to 2 tickets per person.

We are so excited to announce that Father Christmas and Mrs Claus will be here at the Centre again this year - we must have been very good indeed! We don't want to give too much away but Santa and his elves have been working very hard to build his cabin and secret wonderland here.
You will drift through the magical forest and into the snug little cabin to meet Santa, before exploring the winter garden, where the elves store all the toys. Better make sure you are on Santa's 'Good List'
