Do we need to book for the Cafe?
No need to book! Please note we kindly request no picnics on site, as we rely on our café sales to help maintain our wonderful sculpture park.

We are on a mission to help support our nation’s high street heroes!
The British Ironwork Centre is getting behind independent businesses and our high street heroes. We have been creating a selection of colourful selfie benches, all with different robot designs, to be placed all across the UK in the hope to drive more footfall to our wonderful towns and cities.
We really want to help re-invigorate our shopping high streets, and by doing so, we will be helping all the amazing independent stores flourish and thrive.
As a family run independent business, we understand the value an independent business can bring, to not only the people that work within them, but also to their surrounding communities and the customers that shop from them. We have a passion for the vibrant world of creatives, crafters and entrepreneurs and are here to help the high street and those incredible founders who keep it going.
Over the last few years, our high streets have suffered enormously due to many factors, especially from the effects of COVID-19 and the rise of online shopping.
For independent retailers, things are gradually heading back to normality, but are we doing enough to help these towns and city centres continue to survive?
How can I get involved?
Our selfie benches are being made for such a great cause – by attracting the attention of the public, we hope to encourage and drive this footfall into all the incredible shops and artisans in your location.
We are using a medium of art to spur this collective movement, and once again make the high streets somewhere people want to visit and enjoy.
Most importantly, our support comes completely free, so let us know if your town or city wants to be involved in our project.
