Protecting Our Planet

Here at the Ironworks, it’s no secret that we’re passionate about protecting our planet.

Through sculpture and art, we often express our concern over the treatment of our home, and the problems that we are facing within it.

This sculpture pleads with us to focus on what we have, and not what’s among the stars.

Man on the Moon Outside the Ironworks

Our chairman, Clive Knowles, stated that “we feel that there is an incredible, colossal amount of money spent exploring space and sending up satellites and taking samples from planets. All of this is incredibly useful (it is fabulous!) but we should not be searching for life elsewhere and pursuing those scientific pursuits while we have so many problems on Earth.”

We would like to encourage all of our visitors and members to remember how lucky we are to have a planet that is facilitates so much beauty and life. Please do your bit to protect our wonderful home.

Take care of what we’re already so lucky to have.
