King’s Coronation Dragon

What better way to celebrate the King’s Coronation than with a colossal dragon sculpture?!

Crafted from scrap car parts and finished in a brilliant dark silver, this dragon sculpture is positioned next to our entrance (adjacent to Gigantica) and is certainly turning a few heads…

Dragon Heads

The three heads of this dragon represent the past, present and future.

Dragons have long been associated with royalty. Chairman of the Ironworks, Clive Knowles, stated: “Dragons are known throughout the world and universally across cultures – as symbols of wisdom, loyalty, strength, protection, power, success and fearlessness, the very same attributes of our new King.”

Entirely crafted from scrap car parts, this is our newest and most fearsome champion of recycling!

This beautifully imposing sculpture will be here for all to see and enjoy until the Coronation of King Charles III. It will then embark on a journey across the UK to raise awareness of the importance of recycling, and what can be achieved with so-called “scrap” and “rubbish”.
