Dudley’s Monument Against Violence

Dudley, in the West Midlands, are working towards becoming another host location for the Knife Angel and its National Anti-Violence Tour. Members of the Dudley Council, alongside the British Youth Council for Dudley, are all working together in order to add the town to the tour. This legacy sculpture would be created from surrendered and recovered blades taken from the streets of Dudley during their hosting period and would depict The Dudley Bug, or more officially known as the CALYMENE BLUMENBACHII (a species of trilobite). The sculpture would remain in Dudley Town Centre as a permanent educational tool and visual reminder of Dudley’s stance against all forms of Violence.
