Batmobile Replica Roars Into The Ironworks

Our latest showstopping sculpture depicts the iconic fictional car, inspired by the popular movie franchise, Batman. Crafted entirely from scrap metal, the intricate style and attention to detail throughout the piece is sure to wow!

Inspired by the 1989 model from Tim Burton’s ‘Batman’ movie, our fabulous vehicle boasts replica front missiles, battering rams and armour plating, along with fully moving wheels.

The engine bay can be opened and propped, to marvel at the model high-speed engine and parts. Be sure to check out the iconic bat-style wings flaring from the wheel arches!

During the production of the Batman movie, the original Batmobile was fitted with a 1970’s Chevy Impala chassis with a 4-barrel carburetor. Some parts of the car, like the gas cap, were repurposed from other vehicles, such as a London bus

This fantastic sculpture compliments our hugely popular superhero exhibit, where you can see your favourite movie heroes and villains, all life-size and made from scrap metal.
