This project was initially conceived when the Shropshire & Wrekin Age UK team approached us for ideas over collecting additional funds for their cause. We offered our thoughts and support over creating a unique trail around Shrewsbury and the general Shropshire area, which would allow the public to follow the trail through a designated area and, whenever taking a seat on one of the selfie benches, they would donate something into the attached collection box. The magnetism here, of course, was to offer the public a photographic opportunity as a reward for providing a donation to the charity. This project was entirely funded and supported by ourselves, and is now being trialled at the centre to see how many members of the public use the novel opportunity. The collection box has been filled with coins for Age UK, and we are hoping to continue this project alongside the charity soon.
