Do we need to book for the Cafe?
No need to book! Please note we kindly request no picnics on site, as we rely on our café sales to help maintain our wonderful sculpture park.
Do you allow dogs?
Yes, in all outdoor spaces and outdoor café area!
We are open Tuesday – Saturday 9:30am – 4:00pm (Open at 9am on Saturdays).
We are closed on bank Holiday Mondays.
During peak season (which includes Saturdays & School Holidays) we advise booking entry tickets online in advance, you can purchase tickets here;
Yes! We have lots of walks, water stations and free dog treats on site. All we ask is that dogs remain on a lead and refrain from entering our indoor cafe or showroom. However we have plenty of outdoor seating and a garden room which you are welcome to use.
We also ask that any dog mess is cleared up and deposited in the bins which are situated around the site. We always prefer and advise that dogs are not left in cars alone.
We offer one free carer ticket with each full paying visitor (maximum one carer per person).

How do I book a carer ticket?
Carer tickets can be arranged on arrival with a full paying ticket. Please speak to a member of staff on arrival, along with bringing evidence of carer eligibility with you.
Yes! We have spacious disabled and baby changing toilets located to the far left of the showroom. Please ask a member of our Café or Showroom team if you can’t find them – they will be happy to help!
You’re welcome to ask at the front desk for a 1 hour buyers pass, available at the discretion of our staff.
Your entrance ticket will still need to be purchased, and it will be refunded with purchases over £50.

Yes! Just ask at the front desk for a Cafe Taster Card, which is valid Tues-Fri during our off-peak season only.
We don’t offer table bookings in our Cafe, unless this is for our Afternoon Tea experience, which can be booked here;
Yes! We have gluten and dairy-free afternoon teas, as well as options in our cake counter and Cafe menu. Please speak to a supervisor in our Cafe about allergens.
We are an attraction that relies on the sales from our Forge Café and Showroom to help maintain the site. Because of this, we kindly request that visitors refrain from bringing picnics from home and instead purchase refreshments on site. The only exception is school trips where children are allowed packed lunches. Thank you for understanding.

No, you can just purchase a day pass on the day of your visit!
However, Membership has lots of fabulous benefits, such as unlimited visits over 12 months, Cafe and Store discounts, access to our Family and Friend Days and much more!

If you are collecting an order and are not a member of the British Ironwork Centre, then you do not need to sign up to become a member. Simply display a copy of your invoice to a member of staff on our concierge and they will be able to assist you. Please remember to bring your ID.
If you are attending a meeting or interview here at the British Ironwork Centre, then you do not need to sign up to become a member. When you arrive, please present proof of your meeting or interview to a member of staff at our concierge and they will be able to admit you and direct you to where you need to go.
We have over 70 acres of sculpture parks to explore, however there is an indoor Café and Store. If you are bringing pets, or want to sit outside, we do have an outdoor Bar and Garden room which are undercover.
Membership not only gives you full and unlimited access to all our sculpture displays for 12 months, but your membership card will also get you fantastic discounts in our cafe, along with 10% off goods in our showroom (capped at £250 and does not include sale, clearance or some artist pieces).
As well as all this, you will also have access to members only special offers, exclusive first access to events and event tickets, plus a whole host of other rewards!

Though our Donkey and Pony are very friendly, we kindly ask that you refrain from petting them and ask that you do not feed them. They are fed daily and we need to ensure that their diet is being monitored.
We make thousands of our own products, however we also source beautiful pieces from all over the world. We’re very proud of this and spend months each year sourcing eclectic pieces to have in our store.
Through the medium of art and sculpture, we address many pressing worldwide issues. The reason that we do this is to bring awareness to these issues and to elevate and broaden the discussion around them. We feel strongly about the issues that we address and are committed to doing what we can to address them.
We ask that all visitors wear respectable smart-casual attire when visiting the Centre. We are a site that welcomes all groups of people so please ensure that your clothing remains respectful to those around you (i.e. no bare torsos, offensive graphics, etc.). For health and safety purposes, appropriate footwear, particularly with children, should be worn at all times. We reserve the right to deny admittance to any visitor deemed to be wearing inappropriate clothing.
We encourage you to take selfies and photographs of our sculptures, however we do ask that, for your safety, that you do not climb on or touch the sculptures around the site. Dedicated to recycling, many of the sculptures and their respective plinths are made from scrap or waste materials, providing both an educational tool and evidence that artwork can be created with the environment at the forefront of the mind.

Though we have a very large car parking area, we do ask that you do not leave your car on site unattended. This can cause issues when closing the centre at the end of the day. If you have experienced a breakdown and you are unable to drive your car off site, please let a member of staff know so that we are aware.
