Made on the Borders Homemade Christmas Festival

After our first unbelievable “Made on the Borders” craft festival we are back with our next home-crafter’s event: our “Homemade Christmas Festival!”

We are mad about supporting local crafters and makers; we’re loving all-things-British and all-things-homemade!

If you grow, stitch, knit, carve, weld, or simply make; we’d love to hear from you.

Whatever your passion, join us for what is going to be an absolutely incredible community event!

FAQs

Can we get food and drinks within the marquee?

Yes! We will have beverage and food stalls set up within the marquee so that we can keep you full and hydrated. Nothing that smells.

Is there WiFi to connect to?

Yes – there is free Wi-Fi within the marquee (a QR code will be included in your entry pack)

Setting up and packing away

The traffic team will ensure on both occasions you get close to the marque. Once unloaded please free space for others and move your vehicle to the main parking area.

Are my goods safe overnight?

The marquee will be locked up overnight and there will be repeated security checks throughout the night, however we cannot take any responsibility for any loss or damage to your items, however this is very unlikely.

I have a space booked inside – how big is the space?

The space will be approximately 6ft x 2.5ft, including display area.

Can I book two counters?

You cannot book two tables. If there are tables left nearer the date, we can put you on a waiting list for extra space.

I have a space booked indoors, is there electricity?

No. There are no public electrical points within the marquee. If you need electricity for demonstrations, we might be able to accommodate you, but this will be on a first come first served basis, so please email us on [email protected] to check availability.

Is there heating within the indoor space?

Yes! We know that standing still in the cold weather isn’t ideal, so we will be putting some heating in place to keep the worst of the cold at bay. This being said, please dress for the cold weather just in case (i.e., warm jackets, double up your socks, gloves, woolly hats, etc.). The marquee is large and will lose heat quickly.

Can I book over the phone?

Unfortunately, we cannot take bookings over the phone. There is an application form online which we kindly ask you to fill in so that we have all of your relevant details.

Are the marquee and site wheelchair accessible?

Yes! We are a fully accessible site with disabled parking.

Can we bring our dog?

We love to see our visitors with their wonderful dogs, but as an exhibitor, we would advise against bringing your furry friends with you.
