The Role

We’re looking for a confident and hands-on finance professional who can take ownership of core accounting functions while working closely with internal teams and senior leadership. You’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing transactions, and supporting the ongoing development of our finance systems and processes, using Xero as the primary accounting platform.

What You’ll Be Doing

Managing day-to-day financial operations, including purchase and sales ledger activities within Xero
Overseeing invoice processing, payments, and journals to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Preparing and reviewing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve billing, payment, and account queries
Supporting month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations

Duties Include:

  • Accurately receiving and signing for incoming deliveries from suppliers and couriers, checking against delivery notes/purchase orders.
  • Safely unloading goods from vehicles using appropriate equipment.
  • Inspecting incoming goods for damage, discrepancies, and correct quantities, reporting any issues immediately.
  • Processing and updating relevant paperwork and electronic systems (e.g., GRN, inventory management system) with accurate details.
