The World Wildlife Fund is the most famous wildlife conservation organisation on the planet. Working directly with some of the worlds most endangered animals as well as campaigning for increased awareness and action in combatting climate change, the WWF are working around the world to provide a better environment for everyone to live in and enjoy. There are various ways that we can support the WWF including donations, adopting animals and fundraising as well as spreading awareness of the most important environmental factors in our world today.

The African Wildlife Foundation is providing assistance to many animals throughout Africa which are being threatened by poaching, habitat loss and other challenges. With their help, many of the worlds most beloved animals can be saved from the threat of extinction. Not only do they work with the animals directly, they are also involved in the local communities to help raise awareness for endangered and threatened animals through education. We can help to support them in their efforts in the form of one-off or monthly donations as well as fundraising operations.

The EDGE of Existence programme, launched by the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), focusses on animal species that have an unique evolutionary history that are under threat of becoming extinct. The EDGE team works to help secure the future of some of the worlds lesser known, but historically important species and leads expeditions to further the research of these incredible animals. Their scientific approach and deep desire for wildlife conservation is helping the preserve the lives of animals all over the world. We can show our support for their vital work through single and monthly donations as well as organising and participating in fundraising activities.

Save The Rhino is at the forefront of protecting these magnificent creatures and is fully involved in all aspects of protecting the 5 rhino species in the wild, whether that be funding rhino rangers and care, reducing the illegal trade of rhino horn or involving the local communities to help protect the species from extinction. The Zoological Society of London (ZSL) is an international conservation charity that has it’s sights firmly set on preserving wildlife all over the world. Through their scientific and field conservation efforts they are advancing the understanding and protection of many wild animals across the globe, while their two Zoos in London are serving to educate and inspire those who visit with a view to helping them engage in the work of conservation.

Driven from a desire to allow wildlife to live peacefully in the freedom of the wild, Born Free actively work to provide support for threatened species through protecting their natural habitats as well safeguarding their welfare. They also work to promote compassionate handling of all animals in captivity while striving to help them return to the wild where they belong. Working all over the world, Born Free actively engage in field conservation, rescue and care projects for a large variety of animals and also seek to educate local communities to help provide a way for people and wildlife to co-exist in harmony. We can support Born Free through fundraising efforts, donations, adoptions and many more avenues.

Specialising in the unique and highly adapted animal and plant life in one of the worlds most expansive desert regions, the Sahara Conservation Fund use advanced field conservation techniques to help monitor and protect the various animals found within this desert region, and works with various worldwide partners to provide support for some of the worlds most endangered animals. We can support the work of their efforts through the form of donations and through supporting their work on social media.

Helping to support one of the most diverse and amazing wildlife regions in the world, the Galapagos Conservancy works to secure the future of all wildlife on the remote Galapagos Islands off the coast of Ecuador. Home to the Giant Tortoise, the Conservancy has been instrumental in the breeding and protection of this gentle giant amongst caring for a host of biodiverse species that are found across the islands. We can support the efforts of the Galapagos Conservancy to continue providing vital support for this protected ecosystem through donations, memberships, adoptions and many more.
