DANCE THERAPY WOODLAND ENCHANTED BY LOCAL IRONWORK CENTRE

The Woods Hills & Track Scheme is a registered charity that endeavours to provide people with disabilities the opportunity to explore our beautiful countryside unhindered. The Site offers rural access to those with all types of disabilities as well as providing dance therapy and movement challenges. The British Ironwork Centre have donated one of their elegant Victorian lamp posts for this wonderful charity to use within their woodland. The lamp post took centre stage at the charity’s enchanting Narnia evening on the 19th September.

Ben Knowles from BIC has said: “When the group approached us we were more than happy to help, it’s an exciting and fascinating project & all for a great cause. We would like to encourage any community groups & organisations wishing for help or support to contact us, to see how we can help.” If you wish to learn more about the centre you should visit: www.britishironworkcentre.co.uk

Janet Randell, Founder/Chairman of Woods, Hills and Tracks, and International Choreographer, Animator has said: “The support provided by the British Ironwork centre is incredibly generous, It has always been a dream of mine to have a Narnia lamp post in our woods, which has been planted by the disabled users, The group were entranced by the lamp post in the woods and by the magical Mr Tumnus, a character from Narnia, who led everyone round the wheelchair access and down to the lamp post in the heart of the woods.”
