Zip Wire Challenge Raises Funds for Anti-Knife Campaign

Challenge Raises Funds For Anti Crime Campaign

Daring representatives of a Save a Life campaign took on a spectacular challenge to raise funds for the cause.

One of the families who have so bravely joined the campaign, the Maddocks, who lost son and brother Craig in Llay, Wrexham, organised a sponsored zip wire event to commemorate his birthday in picturesque Snowdonia with representatives of the company quick to step up to the challenge and offer support to the family.

Ben Knowles and Jemma Knowles fearlessly took on “Velocity”, the largest zip wire in the northern hemisphere and the fastest in the world, where the 500 feet high, mile long route sees participants reach speeds of up to 100 miles per hour.

Mr Knowles said “It has been a fantastic day and we’re so pleased to have been able to support the Maddocks family and to recognise their support of our campaign.  Zip wire has been an amazing experience in breath-taking surroundings!”
