Tourism expo a success

Tourism expoFollowing this weekends tourism expo at West Midlands Safari Park, two coach operators have been persuaded to visit Oswestry to hopefully build the town into their programme for 2016 but particularly 2017.

Johnsons Coaches are one of the biggest operators and plan day trips and holidays all over the UK. Using the British Ironworks as a day partner, the coach operators will build both the town and the ironworks into their offers for trippers.

Jo Brown, representing Johnson’s coaches said she had never visited Oswestry and has never previously considered it as a viable option.

The town council, our duty mayor and the Ironworks will be working together to persuade Johnson’s to make Oswestry a permanent fixture within their offerings.
