We are Happy to be supporting Nscollege in their work experience projects. Danielle Williams will join us in January for some work experience. Danielle is a keen photographer and is very interested in the visual arts, so she will feel right at home at the Ironworks for a 10 week placement. She can get a feel for a creative working environment and show us her skills with the camera.

Sebastian Siddi, General Manager at Wynnstay Hotel and SPA is working together with us in creating a partnership package for coach and tour operators visiting the town. The package could include a visit to the Ironworks in the morning consisting of a tour of our site and our metal working workshops. This week Nscollege employability course came to the Ironworks to have a look at our metal working workshops. They saw Paul our Blacksmith at work in the forge and got to have a sneak peak of our current project, the creation of The National Monument against Violence and Aggression - knife angel.

It was fantastic this weekend to have Porthywaen Silver Band perform in our showroom for our customers. They played an array of classic Christmas carols which created great atmosphere for visitors to the centre. We are looking forward to next Saturday as the band will be performing again for us and we will make a special donation to the band in thanks.
