Mr Siuiter came to collect the sign we created for All Saints church, Baschurch this week. The sign is to go up in their remembrance garden at the church and states guidelines when it comes to leaving flowers and wreaths at memorials. We are so glad we were able to contribute in supporting the church and the community.

Delighted to see Nik Burns, one of our extremely talented local artists recently. He delivered this fantastic turtle sculpture made for display at the Ironworks as part of our art and Sculpture project. Made from Oak and Copper, this Turtle represents one of the many ways we are supporting local artisans and craftsmen. It's so important to support the local art community in any way we can. New winter opening times! As the Nights are dark and the temperature cold our opening times have changed slightly. Weekdays 10am - 4pm Saturday 9am - 5pm Sunday 10am - 4pm These will be our opening hours until the Spring and the Easter bank holiday.

2016 is going to be the year of live music at The British Ironwork Centre. Starting this weekend, we have some of the best local singers and performers lined up to play for you in our showroom. This Saturday we have John Hughes, "The singing farmer" manages to link in his farming background to the large repertoire of songs he performs. The guys at Fusion Arts Oswestry did a fantastic job entertaining our younger visitors this weekend. They made some incredible Balloon sculptures and We can't thank them enough for all the hard work they have put in throughout the year. Guess the name of the bear! Visit our showroom to guess the name of this lovely bear all in aid of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. Make a donation and write your guess in the name book. Then on February the 14th the charity will pick their winner, who in turn, gets to keep the bear!!
