Delighted to see Nik Burns, one of our extremely talented local artists recently.
He delivered this fantastic turtle sculpture made for display at the Ironworks as part of our art and Sculpture project. Made from Oak and Copper, this Turtle represents one of the many ways we are supporting local artisans and craftsmen. It's so important to support the local art community in any way we can. It's great to have artists like Nik and many more on display on our site.
Nik is one of the most quirky artist's we know, creating works like this Angler fish lamp which is beyond weird but absolutely wonderful. Nik actually won designer craftsmen of the year in 2014 for his metal steam punk inspired sculptures. We hope to have more of Nik's work
