  5. Chirk Castle partnership

    This week Shan Logan, General Manager of Chirk Castle National Trust and Jon Hignett, Interpretation and Programming Officer were in talks with the ironworks in creating a tourism partnership. We are hoping to create a unique package for tourists visiting the area. It's a delight to be working with Chirk castle and we are excited to see what this partnership can do.

      The British Legion and the British Ironworks are working towards being more proactive this year in raising funds, £800.00 was raised from the sale of metal poppies last year and more projects will take place throughout 2016.
