This week saw the second Oswestry Tourism meeting for encouraging coach and tour operators to the area. The aim was to present British Ironwork Centre and Oswestry as a formidable tourist attraction.
We have now included Cambrian Heritage Railways in our efforts to secure much greater numbers of tour operators to this part of Shropshire.
Attending the meeting was Peter Cherrington, Oswestry Mayor, David Higman MBE, Andrew Tallo of the Cambrian railway, Simon Dodds and Nick Bevan of The Blueprint Guide to Group Travel and Clive Knowles.
