North Wales Police, Chief Constable & Deputy Crime Commissioner Support Knife Angel

Anti Knife Crime We've had a busy morning here yesterday. A monumental event against knife crime took place here in Sculptor Alfie Bradley's Studio.

We had North Wales Police, Chief Constable, Mark Polin here along with Deputy Crime Commissioner for North Wales Julian Sandham to symbolically weld a knife onto our knife angel. They were joined by Glyn Davies (British politician) and two local welsh families who have been affected by knife crime in who also took part.

It was a fantastic way to really get our message across, the impact of knife crime is real. It affects everyone. It was symbolic to get these Welsh families welding alongside the Welsh Police force.

It was a hard hitting, emotional morning, remembering the loss of loved ones. We had numerous press including BBC Radio Shropshire Capital North West & North Wales Shropshire Star Oswestry Advertizer
The event was also filmed to be included in the documentary being made on the knife angel project.
