Following the first successful collection and donation of supplies to Ukraine, we rallied to the local community for a second crisis appeal. This time the focus was primarily on medical supplies.
The local community donated a vast array of items, from medical supplies to clothes, baby supplies, food, toys and blankets. From wheelchairs to dog biscuits, we were overwhelmed by the generosity of our community.
Working together with Mick from Ukraine Van Dash, we packed up a further 100 boxes, along with larger items such as prams and stretchers, that Mick was taking across to Ukraine in a 4x4 with a trailer.
Having previously taken a minibus over to Ukraine, Mick was looking for supplies to fill his latest vehicle, and we were more than happy to help.
On Saturday 9th April, Mick collected our boxes and headed off to take them where they are needed most.
