Students studying business and ICT visited the centre this week to study its internal workings and its operational structure.
The Ironworks was chosen by the year tutors for its unusual and imaginative multilevel platforms, where parts of the business operate in different areas and markets simultaneously.
Students were introduced to different departments and were given in depth explanations on how the business operates. The students got to learn about its history, its focus and of course, its ambitions for the future.

Deputy Head Dr Tim Jefferis our Deputy head remarked on the high tech nature of the company and its success in adapting to the ever changing online market place demands and speed at which it's evolving.
Head of business studies, Linda Stephens made a point of highlighting the centre's focus on engaging with its customers and embracing all aspects of community involvement.
Students enjoyed presentations on several of the centres national and international campaigns, these being The National Monument against Violence and Aggression - Knife Angel and the current environmental project which means to stop a million used tin cans from going to landfill and to create an enormous bust of Her Majesty our Queen . Illustrating the importance of recycling and preserving our planet.
