Cath from Walford and North Shropshire College is doing work experience at Forge Falconry over the next couple of weeks. Cath is studying animal management at the college and is really interested in the birds. She is working really well with the birds and Dave was showing her how to call the lovely Jemimah.

Aidan from North Shropshire college started his 5 weeks of work experience with us this week. Aidan is a business student at the college and will be with us every Wednesday for the next 5 weeks. Today we had him concentrating on the marketing side of the business. He was creating content for our website and exploring our social media channels to help expand our reach. We aim to show Aidan different sections of the business as a whole so he understands how a business works.

Janice from Adcote International has been here this week doing her work experience with us. She has been helping out a lot in our cafe and learning how to multi task. Whilst making tea's she has been making sure the cafe is kept clean and tidy and that our customers are well looked after. She has really enjoyed working in our busy cafe and showroom and will be looking into how we run the trade side of the business by working in our office for the remainder of her time here.

We saw an insanely big delivery of weapons and knives arrive at the Ironworks this week from Northumbria Police.Knives and weapons were collected through the county wide surrender which saw bins placed in various locations including police stations where knives and weapons were surrendered.The vehicle that was sent to collect the surrendered knives came back full.This was a huge help to the campaign in order for us to continue in the creation of the The National Monument agai...
