    Jurassic Hike get 200kg Dinosaur to the summit of Snowdon! The 22 strong team split the sculpture into 4 sections, the heaviest weighing over 85kg and each team was given the task to get that body part up the mountain.   4. Sunday 21st August saw the Ironworks second annual sheep dog trials. Over 80 contestants took part, guiding their dogs on a bizarre course at the centre. The handler and dog duo’s had quite a task, herding the flock of sheep through the most unusual gates and around quite out of the ordinary obstacles in the form of Gorillas, Giraffe’s and Elephant sculptures. The aim was to herd the flock of sheep around the course and into the ornate gazebo at the finish. ...

  5. Jurassic Hike - Summit of Snowdon

    Four heroic teams are taking part in an incredible undertaking in aid of a local charity. In an event organised by Oswestry Cambrian Rotary Club and The British Ironwork Centre, with brave supporters from Fusion Arts, Elite Fitness and Oswestry Cross Fit will be taking on a tough four hour hike to the summit of Mount Snowdon, but this is no regular mountain trek.
