We are happy to be supporting another local business here at The British Ironwork Centre and will soon be serving our customers their delicious pastries. We selected Treflach Farm as they only use the very finest ingredients to produce their products.

Hope House Donation

Hope House

One of our visitors yesterday was so delighted with her visit here she wanted to donate £5 to the Ironworks, towards the business.

 This was such an overwhelming compliment, but all money donated to us is given to Hope House Children's Hospices our chosen charity.

Nicola Allan of Telford & Wrekin Council and Park Manageress at Telford Town Park wants to feature a rolling, annual display within their gardens. The first sculptures to feature are the 'gorillas on tour'! We are really excited to be kick starting their project and the Gorilla's will be in place from Easter next year.

Educational Work ExperienceLovely to see Louise Gregory of Walford and North Shropshire College today. We have been chosen to host students here for work experience which will take place over 16 weeks.

The Students will get to see a day in the life of the ironworks and learn valuable skills which they can take with them for the start of their careers.

We are really pleased to be involved and thank the college for including us in this valuable part of education.

Save a life campaign

The British Ironwork Centre’s “Save a Life, Surrender Your Knife” campaign revealed the bespoke knife bank, personalised for its Birmingham location, at the Hub Sports Centre in Perry Barr.

The launch event saw Birmingham’s Deputy Mayor, rap star Roach Killa, representatives of Birmingham’s community and cultural groups meet with anti-knife crime projects and families who have lost loved ones to knife crime from around the UK, with some travelling from as far afield as Manchester and Sheffield to demonstrate their support for the event.
