A local singer-songwriter has been inspired by our national campaign to rid the UK streets of dangerous weapons.
Upon learning of the British Ironwork Centre’s powerful “Save a Life, Surrender Your Knife” project, Harry Davies felt compelled to compose a piece of music.
Bosses at the Centre were so impressed by Harry’s work that they have adopted it as their official song. The track has now been played to all the mothers involved so far in the campaign & has overwhelmingly been given their full approval.
The final editing & production will be championed by The Forge Recording Studio, the proprietor Phil Beaumont has committed to support the knife campaign & is also going to work alongside his close friend, Stone Roses Guitarist Aziz Ibrahim to add the final expert Finesse.
The “save a Life” team hope & believe the track will offer the campaign national public awareness & will be played throughout all national radio stations by November “in time to secure the No1 slot for Christmas day”.
