Emptying donation bins and trawling the wishing wells is really having a great outcome for local Charity Hope House.
The entrance donations bins and the wishing wells around the site, are raising thousands, just from visitors giving their loose change.
As seen here Vanessa Thomas senior fundraiser, collecting more buckets of change today, raised from the Half Marathon day at the Ironworks on Sunday.
Vanessa is quoted as saying, “this is amazing and its quite incredible how much change is being donated at the Ironworks.”
Clive Knowles, Chairman for the Ironworks says, “its plainly a combination of Hope House being such a great local cause and our visitors being charged nothing for entry.”
Visitors always arrive thinking, even being bemused over not paying to come in, then they generally feel the need to offer something and of course the collection bins are all placed at strategic points.
Total donated since Christmas from our Wishing wells & entrance donations: £2481,52.
